Bill Cody is a filmmaker currently based in Athens, Georgia, and Luque, Paraguay. He is best known as the producer of the seminal documentary Athens, GA/Inside-Out, the writer-producer of the indie feature Slaves to the Underground—which was selected for competition at both Sundance and Berlin—and the director of Kids Like You & Me and Athens, GA/Inside-Out 2: Red Turns Into Blue.
Cody began his career as an assistant to legendary writer-director John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn), and has written for Mark Gordon Productions and the Disney Channel. He is currently filming his latest documentary, Year of the Eclipse.
